• Work history includes basic and applied research in plant science including collaborations and training experience at Ohio State University. Skills list includes but is not limited to enzymatic manipulation of DNA and RNA, PCR, construction of CRISPR-CAS9 cassette, E.coli and Agro transformation, bacterial expression and purification of proteins, SDS-PAGE, Southerns, northerns, westerns, protein-protein interaction, enzyme assays, confocal microscopy and compound microscopy. Tissue culture techniques, Rice and Duckweed calli induction, CRISPR generated transgenic plants.

• Good communication skills with experience in public speaking and writing for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Supervisory experience; training and advising graduate and undergraduate students.

• Outstanding academic performance includes Ph.D. in Environmental & plant biology, MS in plant Biology, and a BS in plant biology. .

Gene cloning, overlap PCR, DNA and RNA extraction, quantitative real- time RT-PCR, CRISPR-CAS9 gene editing technology, Co-expression of multiple genes in Tobacco epidermal cells, Agrobacterium-mediated Rice callus genetic transformation, Arabidopsis floral dip transformation.
